Our Doctors

Dr. Theresa Hubbell

DVM

Dr. Theresa Hubbell was born and raised near Traverse City, MI. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Otterbein University in 2013. During veterinary school at Cornell University, she joined the Army. After graduating in 2017, she completed a rotating internship at Fort Bragg, NC. She served globally from Kuwait to Kazakstan to Fort Eisenhower, GA as a clinical veterinarian, certified food auditor, and public health veterinarian. Dr. Hubbell worked as an Emergency relief veterinarian throughout SC starting in 2021 and started working full-time in Urgent Care and Emergency in 2023 following military retirement.

She has a strong background with working dog breeds and is well-versed in the medical considerations for scent work and patrol. Dr. Hubbell is Fear Free certified and a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady. She spends most of her time outside riding horses, working on her farm, and spending time with her husband, son, and growing menagerie.

Dr. Laura Gosink

DVM

Dr. Laura Gosink relocated to Aiken in 2023 with her husband and two teenagers. A California native, she cultivated her passion for veterinary medicine from a young age. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 2004, Dr. Gosink specialized in Small Animal Emergency Medicine for six years in California.

Her career journey led her to eastern Washington, where she served as the Medical Director at a 24-hour small animal emergency clinic for over 12 years. During this time, she honed her skills in soft tissue emergency surgery and critical care, gaining extensive experience not only with dogs and cats but also with pocket pets. Her true passion lies in soft tissue surgery, where she thrives in making significant differences in the lives of her patients.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Gosink loves spending time with her family, including their five dogs. She enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and cooking, and she fully embraces the vibrant equestrian community that Aiken has to offer.
